COLLEEN DEE  – “A Tribute to Anne Murray”

Colleen is well-known for her smooth vocal sound.  Many have compared her to the likes of Patsy Cline.  Colleen was classically trained in Montreal, with a professional opera singer and teacher from McGill University. Colleen has been singing professionally since 1995.  During this time, Colleen has performed at various venues such as car shows, fundraising events, retirement homes and private parties.  Colleen was notably the  Anthem Singer for the B.C. Scottish Highland Games in 2008.  In the mid 1990’s Colleen organized a fundraising event; where she sang to raise money for the Variety Children’s Charity. Colleen appeared on the TV show and received accolades for her fundraising from  the Vancouver’s Show of Hearts.  Colleen loves to perform but her favourite show is her Tribute to Canada’s own,  Anne Murray.  Singing Anne’s songs comes easy to Colleen, but most of all it gives her a great sense of pride and joy.
